Just received the latest issue of top Aussie magazine, Autosalon, in the post. They’ve just ran a feature I shot last year on the WKD / Koguchi Power Falken Chaser. The feature ran to seven pages with a great write up from Dan Goodyer. More images & news after the jump …

The opening spread was a top down view, shot from the WKD office. Used three lights, two high camera right and one low camera left.

They ran a real tidy spread with this, just a regular 3/4 view with two lights high camera left and one mid-height camera right.
This was shot the same day as the HKS Evo IX, which incidentally was also my first day ever shooting with the lights. Looking back you’ll always think of things I could of done better / different but the guys at Autosalon have done an awesome job with the layouts.

In other news, I’ve just finally ordered a 5D MKII. After having a rather large clear out of old gear, the 5D2 is en-route to me and should be here mid-week. The decision to go for the 5D was based on the increase in static and portrait work that I seem to be getting more into. The option for full HD video may also prove useful as I have few different ideas in mind for that …
More updates shortly !
